The vaccination record most new arrivals put off
If you came from Iran or anywhere else, you have probably had vaccinations you hold no proof of, or proof in a language nobody here reads. This is the sort of thing that gets postponed for years and then turns out to be needed at the worst possible moment.
Do two things at your first appointment. Ask your GP for a German vaccination booklet and bring whatever record you have, even a plain translation, so that anything transferable gets entered. And ask which vaccinations are recommended for your age and situation, because adults have a schedule of their own and most people only think of the childhood ones.
Nurseries, schools, certain jobs and certain journeys will all ask you for this booklet. Putting it together takes ten minutes when you have time and a week when you are in a hurry.
Offenbach and Frankfurt touch, but they are not one place
The centre of Offenbach is minutes from the centre of Frankfurt on the city rail, and for the purpose of finding a doctor the two are one market. So open your search to both.
