About Iranian Travel & hospitality
Persian-speaking travel and hospitality in Germany: the agency that sells the flight or the holiday, and the hotel where you stay a few nights or put up relatives who have come a long way. What most people learn too late is that under German law, the party who sold you the trip and the party who owes you the trip can be two different companies, and that single distinction decides who has to fix things on the day something falls apart. This page is not legal advice, and it says nothing about the entry requirements or paperwork of any particular country.
What the Verified badge does and does not say
Verified says one thing only: a real person stands behind this profile and manages it themselves. YabInfy does not check anyone's certificates, licences, experience or competence, and the badge is not for sale.
What is gathered on this page
This is the parent page over two groups, each with a page of its own. Travel agencies is where flights, tours and packages are bought and sold, and where, depending on the agency, the paperwork around a trip is handled. Hotels is accommodation: nights for you or for a visitor, and sometimes a room and catering for an event.
Someone who speaks your language is not just a convenience here. A booking is a contract, and its most expensive sentences are never in the advert: the cancellation scale, what the price excludes, and who picks up the phone on a bad day. Ask about exactly those in your own language, and far less gets called a misunderstanding later.
Seller or organiser, the distinction everything hangs on
- An organiser (Reiseveranstalter) sells the trip as one package under its own name and owes you that package. If part of it does not happen, the organiser is your counterparty, even when it was the airline or the hotel that failed.
- An agent (Reisevermittler) sells you somebody else's product and passes your booking through to the organiser or the airline. Performing the trip is not on their shoulders, though they answer for their own part of it: booking what you asked for, and correct information.
- The same agency can be an agent on one sale and the organiser on the next. The sign on the door does not settle it; the written confirmation does.
- So your practical move is small: look on the confirmation for the organiser's name. If another company's name is sitting there, the agency was the agent and that company is your real counterparty.
A package carries something a bare flight does not
When two or more travel services, say a flight and accommodation, are bought for the same trip in one purchase from one seller, it will usually count as a package holiday (Pauschalreise), and a set of statutory rights comes with it. Whether a given combination counts depends on how it was sold, but there is a piece of paper to look for: before the contract is concluded the seller has to tell you in writing that what you are buying is a package and that you have the rights that go with one. If no such notice reaches you, ask what you are actually buying.
A flight on its own, or a room on its own, is a single service and brings none of that with it. Air passenger rights exist separately and are yours, but they speak only about that flight, not about the rest of the trip.
The day one leg is cancelled
- On a package you have one counterparty: the organiser. They have to find another way to get you there or make good what did not happen, and working out who in the supply chain is to blame is their problem. If you are already away, accommodating you and bringing you home is part of the same obligation.
- With a flight and a hotel booked separately you hold two contracts, and neither answers for the other. The airline answers for the flight, and the room you can no longer use is governed by the hotel's own cancellation terms. The money you saved by booking separately is usually spent right here.
- Report the problem at the time and in writing. The organiser has to be given the chance to put it right, and if it turns into an argument later, your dated message with the flight number and the name of whoever you spoke to is the whole of your evidence.
The Sicherungsschein, and the money you should not pay before it
- For a package, the organiser must be covered against its own insolvency, and the proof of it, the insolvency certificate (Sicherungsschein), has to be handed to you. It covers the money you have paid, and your journey home if needed, should the company fail before or during the trip.
- The practical rule worth money to you: you do not have to pay a deposit before that certificate reaches you. If money is being asked for and no certificate is in sight, ask why right there.
- Keep it somewhere separate and note the insurer named on it, so it does not vanish into a thread of emails. On the day you need it, the seller who took your money is probably not answering.
Visas and consular paperwork: an agency is not the authority
- The decision belongs to that country's own mission. No agency, however experienced, can promise you an outcome. Treat any version of "we will get you the visa" as a reason to stop.
- Ask exactly what is being done for you, and get it in writing: booking the appointment, filling in the form, checking the document list, delivering the file, collecting the passport back. Separate jobs, separate prices.
- The agency's fee is not the official fee. Ask what each is, and which part comes back if the application is refused. If you hand over an original passport, take a written receipt saying what was taken, on what date, and when it returns.
- Sign no form you have not read, and let nobody enter anything untrue on your behalf: the application goes in under your name. Take the document list from the mission itself, because it changes and the agency is only repeating it.
Hotels: what is in the price and what is not
- A flexible rate and a cheaper non-refundable rate are two different products. If your dates hang on an appointment or on somebody else's decision, read the price difference as insurance.
- Some cities charge a local overnight tax separately, collected at checkout. Whether there is one, and who is exempt, is for the city to decide, so ask the hotel before you arrive.
- You sign a registration form on arrival, and for a guest without a German ID card the hotel is required to see a passport or identity card, so carry it to the desk. Say in advance if you will arrive late, so the room is held for you.
- For an event, get the terms in writing: outside food, what time the music stops, minimum numbers, and how many rooms can be released by what date without a charge. This varies completely by hotel.
What to ask before you book
- Who the organiser of this trip is, and where their name appears on the confirmation.
- Whether I am buying a package or separate services, and where the written notice saying so is.
- When the insolvency certificate reaches me, and what is being asked for before that.
- What changing a date or correcting a name costs, and the cancellation scale by date, as percentages.
- Whether the agency's own fee is inside the price or on top, and whether it is refundable.
- YabInfy checks none of this, so ask for it yourself, and ask to see the document where it matters.
The paperwork to insist on
Nothing said out loud exists until it is on the written confirmation, which should carry the organiser's name, the dates and times, the flight numbers, the exact hotel and room type, the total price and what it includes. Check the names letter by letter against the passports: correcting one character after a ticket is issued usually costs money and is sometimes impossible.
Ask for the cancellation scale in writing, with dates, rather than as "it depends". On payment, the normal shape of a package booking is a deposit when you book and the balance shortly before departure; if the whole sum is wanted up front, ask why, and what paper you get in return. Take a receipt every time, and look at whose name issued it, the agency's or the organiser's, because that is the name that has to answer later.
Choosing someone from here
Read the reviews for what a traveller can genuinely judge: whether the quoted price held, whether the confirmation matched what was promised, and whether anyone answered on the day the plan came apart. Delays, weather and a consulate's decision are not in the seller's hands, so one bad trip is not by itself a verdict on how they work.
On privacy, hold both halves. YabInfy neither keeps nor shows who opened a profile or who sent a contact request, while a review you write is public under a name you choose, so write about the service itself: your destination and your reason for travelling need not appear in it. Every profile keeps its contact details behind "Show contact details", and they go straight to the business rather than through us.
Travel agencies and hotels each have their own page, and the cities are listed at the foot of this one. If your trip needs a certified translation, start with the translators. There is more about how this site works in the FAQ, and if this is your trade, add your business.
