For an elderly person living alone, for somebody who cannot yet walk after an operation, or for a patient being cared for in bed at home, this is the correct route and public insurance covers it.

Two practical notes. Ask early in the morning, because home visits are usually done within a set window in the day. And ask the practice how far its home-visit area extends, because most of them draw a boundary and your district may fall outside it. Outside opening hours, a visit can be requested through the on-call number instead.

In Hagen, count the hills
