About Iranian Pharmacies in Berlin

What the Verified badge does and does not say
Verified says one thing only: a real person stands behind this profile and manages it themselves. YabInfy does not check anyone's certificates, licences, experience or competence, and the badge is not for sale. Pharmacists here belong to the Apothekerkammer Berlin, the same body that organises the city's out-of-hours pharmacy rota.
A pharmacy is open at midnight too, you just have to know which
German pharmacies do not open around the clock, but no night passes without one open. The system is a rota, and in Berlin the pharmacists' chamber sets it, so that on every night and every public holiday a number of the city's pharmacies are on duty.
There are two ways to find it. Most pharmacies have a notice on the door naming that night's duty pharmacy and its address, and the chamber publishes a duty search on its website. Check before you set off, because the rota changes nightly and it will not necessarily be the pharmacy nearest you.
Know one cost detail so the till does not surprise you. Medication collected outside normal opening hours carries a small out-of-hours charge. If the doctor has marked the prescription as urgent, the insurer pays that charge instead. So if you have been to an out-of-hours doctor in the evening, ask them to add that marking while you are there.
In Berlin, proximity matters almost as much as the medicine
Berlin is large, and for anything you collect every month a pharmacy near home or on your way to work is worth something real. A settled relationship with one pharmacy also has a benefit people rarely consider: they see your medications side by side and catch the interactions.
If you need something unusual that is not always in stock, ask whether they will order it and how long it takes. Most pharmacies that order in the morning have it by the afternoon or the next day.
Ask before you go
- Is this in stock, or do you have to order it? How long does that take?
- What is my contribution? And if I hold an exemption, should I bring the card?
- Will somebody explain in Persian? For a new medication that is not an idle question.
- Do you deliver? For a patient who cannot get out, that decides it.
- YabInfy checks none of this, so ask for it yourself, and ask to see the document where it matters.
If this group is not big enough for you
Any pharmacy in Germany will accept your prescription, so you are not limited to this list to collect medication. The value of this list lies elsewhere: being able to ask about a medicine in Persian. If there is no Persian-speaking pharmacy near you, use the nearest one for routine prescriptions and save the harder questions for one of these.
Reviews and privacy
Nothing about looking is recorded. We do not store or display who opened a profile or which pharmacy they went to. What ends up public is your review alone, shown under the name you give.
Do not name your medication in a review. Say whether they explained things or simply handed over the box, how long an order took when something was out of stock, and whether anybody there spoke Persian. Those three are enough for the next reader.
